Does Sparks Provider do payroll?
Short answerNo. Sparks Provider records and approves hours, then sends approved timesheets to Xero as drafts, and Xero runs pay. Sparks Provider does not calculate wages, interpret awards or run payroll.
Why it works this way
A wage worked out wrongly is an underpayment, so Sparks Provider leaves pay to Xero, where your pay settings already live. Sparks Provider keeps the hours right and hands them over.
What goes to Xero
- Approved timesheets, as drafts for you to check.
- Draft invoices, also for you to check.
